I left school in 1978 and joined the long-established Sleaford firm of Peake, Snow & Jeudwine as a Trainee in the Probate Department. As the firm's accounts started to become more computerised, I was drafted in to help out the Accounts Department. In 1990 I was approached to set up the Accounts Department in the newly-formed firm of Knipe Miller & Co in Spalding and whilst there I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1991. I was Office and Accounts Manager there for 21 years until the firm was taken over in 2011 and I moved to Horncastle to join the accounts team based there. I joined Burton & Co in August 2016 on a part-time basis to help streamline and modernise the Accounts Department to ensure the financial side of clients' transactions are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
