The Chancellor announces extension of the Help to Buy Scheme for new build homes.
Today the Chancellor announced the extension of the help to buy scheme until 2020.
It is understood that another £6bn is to be invested into the scheme which will help 120,000 people to buy new build homes.
The housing market has seen a significant upturn since late 2013 with the demand for our Conveyancing service increasing as a result.

Patricia Matthews, Head of Residential Conveyancing at Burton & Co welcomed the announcement stating:
“We feel that the Help to Buy scheme has contributed to getting the housing market moving again. It is clearly a scheme which many people are familiar as we regularly receive calls from buyers wishing to use the scheme.
In Lincolnshire and in particular in the City of Lincoln we are aware that there are plans to build many more new homes over the coming years. Anything that can help people get on the property ladder has got to be welcome news for our future clients and for the local economy.”
